Dr. Julie Muphy

Dr. Julie Murphy is a native of Texas who has had the privilege of spending almost 20 years helping college students thrive in the higher education setting in my home state. She currently serve as the Director of the Student Success Center at UT Dallas. and oversee 12 professional staff and 250 student peer leaders. While Texas Christian University will always have her undergraduate heart (go Frogs!), She earned her Masters in Higher Education Personnel from Texas A&M in 2006 and  Doctorate in Education in 2016 from Texas Tech University, using her dissertation research to investigate how mentoring could affect the retention of women in STEM-based academic fields. She is a very proud mom of Bree, Bauer, and Bennett and wife to Sean!
