Dr. P. Brandon Johnson

Dr. P. Brandon Johnson is an associate dean in the Office of Undergraduate Education at the University of Texas at Dallas. In this role, he provides strategic leadership of student success and engagement programs in Undergraduate Education. Departments within Dr. Johnson’s portfolio include the university learning center, pre-professional advising centers, freshmen and transfer mentoring programs, undergraduate research, the campus food pantry, and student financial literacy program.


Before UT Dallas, he served as the Director of the Center for Academic Achievement at Florida Gulf Coast University. He also has engaged diverse student populations through his work with TRIO Special Support Services at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and as the co-founder of an African American Male retention-focused living-learning community at North Carolina A&T State University.
